Center
Petnica [Pet-knee-tza] Science Center is a non-governmental,
non-profit and independent educational institution founded to help and
suport young people who demonstrate an interest to science beyond school
curricula. The Petnica Science Center is an active member of UNESCO's INISTE
network. PSC is located in Petnica, a village about 4miles (6 km) SE of Valjevo city (see map), in West Serbia, 60 miles (95 km) SW of Belgrade,
capital of Yugoslavia (see map).
